Well, the time has come. It’s officially clapback season (j/k, that’s every season) and Erykah Badu is REA-DY after going off on her recent Insta post.

Badu posted a video showcasing her “bag lady” skills in a shiny, leather, compartmentalized coat. She captioned the image,“Neon Bag Lady Compartmentalism…and I got a colorful aura..because the internets.” How can you not like how practical Ms. Badu is? Always one step ahead of the game for the ladies who walk around with physical baggage.

But not all we’re amused. The Insta trolls started to flood Erykah’s comments, with one asking “what is this a body bag?” while another said “this look reminds me of that cowboy cartoon character in looney toons I forgot the name.” Unfortunately for these trolls, they were not aware of Erykah’s abilities to “snatch souls.” 

Badu’s response? “Yo head remind me of that movie where the boy name was rocky and his mama was played by Cher I forgot the name.”

And we’re deceased. If you didn’t catch the movie, its called Mask and the person’s face is reminiscent of the above. Listen, y’all better take a window seat trying to mess with Erykah Badu. Clearly, she has time.
