Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Head to the Future in 'California Roll'

You'll definitely recognize the inspiration.

Snoop Dogg and Pharrell travel back to Los Angeles circa 1946 in their official video for “California Roll.”

In the music video for the BUSH opener, an audience all dressed in wartime looks are attending a showing of California Roll and is greeted by a robot called Canubis 420, who is voiced by Snoop. Once the introduction ends, they are treated to a simulation ride of the future, where flying cars and Egyptian pyramids populate Hollywood. Pharrell wears a gold robe, Stevie Wonder rides shotgun with a relaxed looking Snoop. Overall, things look pretty chill in their version of California.

If you have ever been on Star Tours in Disneyland, then you’ll recognize the inspiration immediately. Watch the video below and get ready to have fun.
