Did Cam’Ron Only Respond To Ma$e’s Diss Track For The Money?

The Harlemite revealed that "Dinner Time" only helped fatten his pockets.

Nearly a week ago, the long brewing tension between Harlem-bred rap vets Cam'ron and Ma$e reached a new pinnacle after both emcees took lyrical jabs at one another on wax.

But if you ask the Dipset frontman, his response track “Dinner Time” was initially a calculated business move.

Early Thursday morning (Nov. 30), Killa Cam sat down with The Breakfast Club to promote his latest effort, The Program, as well as clarify details in his fiery rap feud with the former Bad Boy signee. “The first thing I did was started calling my partners to see how much I could get for a response," Cam openly admitted. "I would have done it for free, definitely, but the first I did was called my partners, figured out how much we could get for the response, what’s the timeframe on it, because we didn’t even mix the record."

According to Killa, a recent partnership with YouTube further persuaded him to pen a diss record. "I’m on tour right now. I have a deal with YouTube, so they gave me an advance on the money I’m going to make anyway just for doing the song," he explained. Cam maintains that anything ostensibly directed at the fellow Harlem rapper, in recent years, wasn't a "diss," per se, including "Take Em' To Church."

"I never dissed Mase," he added. "I'm telling you stories about real life situations. I never made up 'f**ked my sister,' the imaginary sister that I don't have. I don't have a sister. I don't really do fiction when it comes to Mase."

Killa's comments come just a few days after he took to Instagram Live to share his own X-rated details about his alleged sexual tryst with Ma$e's sister. Posted up on the live session for all of his one million-plus followers to see, Cam spoke on his ‘90s flame with the rapper's twin sister, Stason a.k.a. Baby Stase.

“And don’t be mad at me and your history neither,” he mentioned during the video. “You ain’t gotta be ashamed. It ain’t like I’m no bum n***a. You ain’t gotta be mad about it Stase — we cool.”
