Hired! North West Scores Her First Modeling Campaign For Fendi
North West is making a name for herself in the fashion industry at the ripe age of 5 in her first-ever high-fashion campaign. And the pictures are too cute!
North West just jump-started her modeling career alongside her mom, Kim Kardashian West, and her grandmother Kris Jenner in Fendi’s #MeandMyPeekaboo campaign in honor of the 10th anniversary of Fendi’s iconic Peekaboo handbag. Check out this preview of North West’s first campaign below:
In the campaign, the three generations of women are sporting Fendi looks with Peekaboo bags around L.A. According to the designer and Fendi's creative director for accessories, men’s wear and kids’ wear, Silvia Venturini Fendi, the concept behind the campaign is intimate looks at families of famous, and infamous, women.
“[The Kardashians] are all three of them very strong women, with strong personalities. It’s an iconic family, who is known for its appearance, but we wanted to bring more of an intimate side to the table,” Venturini Fendi said.
The West/Jenner women aren't the only members of the family featured in this campaign. The short films for their campaign also includes music from Northie’s dad, Kanye West, who is also a close friend of Venturini Fendi after interning for Fendi. Take a look at the cute video featuring Kanye’s song "Love Lockdown":
The images are set to be released on Fendi’s social media starting July 11. Do you think this is the start of North's career in high fashion?
