Lil Kim Discusses Upcoming EP and Book

Lil Kim is working on new music and a book about life before and after jail, The Price of Loyalty.

The Queen Bee is still buzzing. According to The Rap Up, 754 media caught up with Lil Kim outside a club in Rochester, New York and got the details on the release of her upcoming projects, an EP and an already overdue book, The Price of Loyalty.
"The book is still in motion," says Kim. "As a matter of fact, my book company is really doing this. What happened was, we had a writer but we had to change the writer. The writer had to go and do a project, so we kind of postponed it for a second, but we’re back on it now. It’s called The Price of Loyalty… we’re [also] trying to make a mini-movie to coincide with the book. That takes a while because you’ve gotta green light it and all that stuff. Everything’s gotta be done in moderation.”
As previously reported, the book and documentary Kim has been working on will focus on her life before and since serving a one-year prison sentence back in 2005.
As for the nearly completed EP she's been working on, Kimmy says she's been in the studio with the likes of producers like Timbaland.
"It's funny. I like a lot of underground producers, because they come up with the new ideas that I'm looking for," said Kim. "I also have my relationships with people who are dying to work with me. I was with Timbaland and I'm going to release pictures on Twitter of us working real soon."
It's expected that Kim will also announce her new label at the beginning of 2012.
