Chris Brown: Lawyers Won’t Let Me Talk About Drake
With none of the involved parties sharing details, the events surrounding Chris Brown and Drake's infamous bottle-throwing nightclub brawl in June are still somewhat shrouded in mystery. In a recent interview with Power 106's Big Boy's Neighborhood in L.A., Brown wouldn't spill the beans, but said he was only holding back because of pending legal proceedings.
"The only reason I can't talk about [the Drake situation] is because we're dealing with legal stuff," he said. "You know I'm trying to get paid and not trying to give out no information. We don't talk about other guys. We just focus on music."
Asked whether or not he and Drake ever exchanged blows, Brown said they hadn't.
"I'm more reserved, and I box, so there would have been none of that," he said.
Later in the interview, Breezy also denied an old rumor that Jay-Z, who mentors Rihanna, once threatened to end his career when the two met in a green room. Brown insisted the two only exchanged cordial greetings.
"It was cordial," Brown told Big Boy of the exchange between him and Hov at Brooklyn's Barclays Center back in October. "It was real respectful. It was nothing like that. I went to the Center to see the show."
