Nicki Minaj Responds to Steven Tyler's American Idol Criticism

The Young Money star feels the rock icon is unfairly judging her.

Nicki Minaj refuses to hold her tongue for her American Idol critics. The judge recently fired back at Steven Tyler, a former Idol judge who had plenty to say about the Pink Friday celeb's attitude toward contestants. Tyler feels Minaj is simply too hard and critical on the show.

"If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield!" complained the Aerosmith star to MTV News. "Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with [Idol contestant] Phillip Phillips."

Nicki is calling foul on the music legend's criticism, claiming that he's making "racist" assumptions about her judging style without even seeing her "judge one single solitary contestant yet."

"You assume that I wouldn't have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f--k yourself and worry about yourself babe," she posted to her Twitter account.

The star didn't stop there though. She threw Tyler's comments in the same bucket as her disdain for Barbara Walter's earlier criticism.

"LOL lets make him a shirt that says 'No Coloreds Allowed' then escort him down 2 Barbara Walters so he can tell how he was threatened w/guns," the rapper added, referring to her co-judge Mariah Carey's comments to The View host.

Minaj will make her official debut as a judge in January when the new season of American Idol premieres. Tyler judged for two seasons, but his contract was not renewed for undisclosed reasons.
