Cori Broadus Announces That She’s Expecting First Child With Fiancé Wayne Deuce
Congratulations are in order for Cori Broadus and her fiancé, Wayne Deuce!
The “Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood: Cori & Wayne's Story” star and Deuce are expecting their first child, a baby girl. The 25-year-old singer and reality television star shared the news on Monday, December 23, with E! News, shortly after the first season finale of “Cori & Wayne’s Story.”
“I found out Oct. 28," Broadus, who’s four months pregnant, told the outlet. “This baby is so unplanned, but we are soooooo blessed.”
As Broadus has battled lupus since she was 6 years old, she also revealed that her pregnancy is high-risk. “I'm high-risk pregnancy and doctors were very concerned for me and the baby," the 25-year-old noted, "but God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine. I’m having a girl.”
Broadus and Deuce’s first baby will be the eighth grandchild of Snoop Dogg and his wife, Shante, who appeared on their daughter’s reality show. “My mom and dad were so excited, their baby girl is having a baby," Cori said. “My dad was hoping for a grandson, though.”
The “Journals to Johnny” artist added that she’s “excited to love on my baby girl and make her feel like she's the prettiest in the world,” noting that she didn’t feel “the most confident” and didn’t feel like she “fit in” while growing up.
“And I’m having a mini me,” she told E! News. “Wayne said he's excited to have someone that looks like me. He knows she is going to be so beautiful and he just can't wait to build things for her and give her all the love in the world.”
Separately, Deuce, whose last name is Polk, posted an Instagram carousel of Broadus’ baby bump, a positive Clearblue test, and their daughter’s sonogram. “Girl dad 💗 can’t wait to meet you baby girl 🥹” he captioned the post.
