50 Cent Is Reportedly Pulling The Pettiest Move Ever Amid Incessant Feud With Ja Rule
Queens rap legends 50 Cent and Ja Rule’s decade-long feud went from pure hip-hop rivalry to full-blown petty sh*tshow. Their ancient squabble produced ruthless diss tracks, vindictive interviews, literal blows and social media trolling that had many grabbing popcorn to watch their antics unfold.
In 1999, the Murder Inc. signee was robbed at gunpoint in Southside Jamaica, Queens -- noted hometown of Fif, who claimed Ja spotted the G-Unit emcee with the rumored assailant. However, Ja blamed their beef stemming from Fif being snubbed from the “Murda 4 Life” video. After, Fif dropped “Your Life’s On The Line,” his first diss track against the Pain Is Love emcee. Despite the track failing in comparison to Ja’s debut, Venni Vetti Vecci. They, then, got into a brawl at a nightclub, which led to Fif being stabbed at Hit Factory studios in Spring 2000. Fellow Murder Inc. emcee, Black Child took credit for the incident.
In 2002, Fif and his G-Unit clique dropped “Wanksta,” another shot at Ja. The track was Fif’s first hit single and the two rappers were balancing out professionally. That November, Murder Inc. founder Irv Gotti alluded that the Power actor had an order of protection against himself and Ja and dubbed as an informant. Following those claims, G-Unit dropped “I Smell P***y,” which called out Irv, Ja, Black Child and Cadillac Tah.
An unidentified gunman opened fire at Violator Records in 2003, whom was managing Fif’s career. Though no arrests were made, the escapade was rumored to be due to their unabating war. Following the shooting, Fif dropped his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, which featured “Back Down.” The Dr. Dre-produced hit put Ja and Murder Inc.’s street cred in question, which in turn was followed by Ja’s “Loose Change.” The scorching diss took shots at not only 50, but Eminem, Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes and Chris Lighty. A week later, Em, Busta and 50 revived Tupac’s “Hail Mary” to mock Ja’s known “infatuation” with the slain West Coast phenom. As an ode to Biggie with a very appropriate comeback, Ja fired back with “Guess Who Shot Ya” and a critically acclaimed flop, Blood In My Eye.
In 2011, amid Ja pleading guilty to tax evasion, the “Candy Shop” rapper took the opportunity to poke fun at his nemesis and a couple years after, the “Ain’t It Funny” rapper admitted that he and his team lost the war against Fif. However, Fif reignited their beef at Summer Jam 2014 and Ja had a simple clapback, but fast-forward to this past January, Ruler made his stance towards Fif very clear. “50 Cent is p***y…. I own your soul. You’re my b*tch.”

After the virtual tit-for-tat, things have yet to die between the sparring emcees and according to Fif, the war won't end until one of them is dead. At one point, Ja even asked Live Nation to produce a tour for them. Shortly after, 50 admitted he was purchasing 200 front-row tickets to Ja's show, so he's purposefully performing to an empty room. Yet, Ja fired back with an alternate meaning to Fif's classic mantra, "get the strap."
While many have been enjoying the less-volatile version of their rivalry, it's being reported that Fif is ready to pull a career-ending move.
According to sources, Fif is talking to Def Jam about purchasing all of Ja Rule’s masters and publishing rights from his '90s and 2000s hits.
Essentially, this means every time a Ja Rule hit is streamed or sold, Fif is getting paid. Aside from being blocked after constant trolling and even labeling Fif a "boot licking ring kissing coon," Ja might want to call up his lawyer and get to the bottom of this rumored deal because this is a mess.
