Michigan police recently released video footage of a Craigslist killer preparing to torture and kill a couple. In 2014, Brady Oestrike transformed his home into a dungeon that he used to murder a pregnant 18-year-old girl. 

Brooke Slocum and her 25-year-old boyfriend Charles Oppenneer reportedly communicated with Oestrike on Craigslist to meet up for sex. However, on July 12, 2014, Oestrike kidnapped Slocum — who was eight months pregnant — after decapitating her boyfriend. It was believed that Oestrike tortured Slocum for days before he strangled her to death.

In the chilling video, Oestrike prepared his home before Slocum’s abduction, torture and murder. The footage shows Oestrike set up chains and prepare a dog crate, where he could keep Slocum.

After the murder, police pursued Oestrike. During a chase with police, Oestrike crashed his vehicle and took his own life with a gun before authorities could reach him.

Police were able to determine it was Oestrike by tracing the Craigslist emails between him and Slocum. According to reports, Oestrike responded to an ad Slocum posted that advertised paid sex. Police used their correspondence to connect the emails with Oestrike, reported Fox 17.

When police later went through Oestrike’s home, they also found restraints in the basement, nooses with dolls hanging from them, bloody clothes, lingerie, Tasers, a machete and sex toys, Fox 17 reported.
