August Alsina Takes It Home in 'Hip Hop' Music Video
August Alsina premieres #BlackLivesMatter inspired visuals to "Hip Hop."
R&B crooner August Alsina has had a rough year and it's great to see him back in full health. He exlusively premiered his cintematic music video "Hip Hop" at the BET Awards preshow. Such a fitting title for an artist that brings thug life to R&B.
Paying homage to his hometown, August recollects his childhood in New Orleans and how Hip Hop impacted it. "Pray for better days" and "I can feel change" are stand out quotes in the song that were dually used to promote #BlackLivesMatter.
Salute to August Alsina for using his platform to spread more awareness for police brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement.
