Somebody made an egregious error, but the Philadelphia Eagles are saying it wasn't them.

The team's official 2015 calendar features wide receiver Riley Cooper for February. That's glaring, considering February is Black History Month and Cooper was caught on video using the n-word during a country-music concert back in 2013.

But despite the calendar being the Eagles' official team calendar, the organization says they didn't manufacture it. 

"We do not oversee the production of the annual team calendar," the Eagles said in a news release, as reported by ESPN. "We do not provide any input about the players who are featured or where those pictures appear in the calendar. The NFL licenses the production of that calendar to a third party, and we do not have an opportunity to review the material."

When Cooper's controversial video first surfaced in 2013, Cooper took a leave of absence from the Eagles before apologizing to his teammates and returning to the squad. Michael Vick publicly supported Cooper and vouched for him being a good person during the media firestorm.

Cooper wound up playing all 16 games for the Eagles that season and this past 2014 campaign.
