Mac Miller's Burial Site Is An Eerie Moment Of Life Imitating Art

The 26-year-old rapper died of a drug overdose.

Mac Miller died of a reported drug overdose on September 7 and his family is preparing for his death. Born Malcolm James McCormick, he will be buried where one of his music videos were filmed.

The rapper will be buried at Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which is where his  “Nike’s On My Feet" music video was filmed in 2010. The Blast reported he once said in an interview, “We used to hang out in the cemetery at night, when no one’s there. In fourth grade, I remember going in there with shit to smoke, then trying to smoke it to see what would happen to us. I started smoking way before I started drinking.”
Thankfully, Miller estate is protected. The 26-year-old had a will and all of his belongings will be left to his mother, father and brother.
Definitely gone too soon. Rest in peace, Mac Miller.
