The Big Boss is getting ready to embark on a big tour.

On the heels of her latest album “Big Boss” –which dropped in May– Keke Palmer announced that she will be taking her music on the road in her first tour, as reported by ET Canada. Palmer made the announcement Wednesday (August 2) via Instagram.

In the post, the triple threat utilized a video montage that opens with her sitting on stage at the “Big Boss” event in Washington, D.C. in July. During that event, a fan challenged her from the audience with, “You don’t tour. When are you gonna tour?” Her response, “That’s ending this year.

And with an ending, comes a new beginning.  “I am absolutely going to tour. I’m literally putting a show together, I kid you not. And I will not disappoint ya’ll again. It’s gonna have a little bit of everything”, she added.

In the new mom’s message on Instagram, she wrote, “It’s here, y’all! I told you I wouldn’t keep you waiting too long. Can’t wait to hit the road on the Big Boss Tour this September with Big Boss energy!

The caption continued, “We’re kicking it off in Oakland and wrapping up in my hometown of Chicago. Presale Starts on Thursday, August 3rd with public on sale on Friday, August 4th. Get your tix & let me know what city you’re reppin’.”

Palmer’s post also featured a scene from her last time hitting the stage over the summer at Broccoli City Fest in Washington, D.C. at RFK Stadium.  During that performance, she rocked a high ponytail, jumbo hoop earrings and wore a bedazzled black and silver catsuit by designer Sergio Hudson. He has also styled Michelle Obama, Sheryl Lee Ralph and supermodel Iman.

The Big Boss Tour will make its first stop in Oakland on September 10, and will cycle through Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, and Philadelphia.
