James Wright gets a call from Ms. Patti.
James Wright’s musical pie review hit a sweet spot with Patti LaBelle. Wright told Chicago’s News 32 that LaBelle called him Friday to rave about his viral clip.
“She kept thanking me and she kept telling me how much she loved me. She kept telling me to be me,” Wright said. “She was like 'boy you can sang!'"
Wright says he plans to continue recording food reviews. His video turned into the perfect enforcement for Ms. Patti's line of sweet potato pies.
Fans are already hitting up Walmart and proudly posting about the pies on social media.
