Mariah Carey has always been known for her luxe lifestyle and expensive taste, so you can only imagine the shock we were in when we found out the legendary diva was staying at a hostel (i.e. bed & breakfast) during a recent trip to Barcelona. 

Well sorta...

As it turns out, the diamond wearing 48-year-old was actually experiencing her first hostel at the Casa Gracia, Spain, to shoot her new commercial for the booking website HostelWorld to prove once and for all "even Divas are believers." The clip shows the LOL-worthy moment she realized she wasn't at a 5-star establishment but instead a hostel booked by her assistant.

Although the ad was undeniably adorable, we are not sure if it would have ended so happily, and we can't help but take note to the choice of song, "Fantasy" sang by Mariah at the end of the commercial.
