Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa Team Up For Tour
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are going on a nationwide tour in support of their collaborative album and film titled Mac and Devin Go To High School. The High School Tour kicks off Dec. 5 in New York at Terminal 5.
Their film centers around a Los Angeles high school valedictorian hopeful named Devin Overstreet, played by Khalifa, who can't write a graduation speech do to too much focus on his studies and a lack of real life experiences. Mac, on the other hand, is a 15-year-old ladies man (played by Snoop Dogg) who wants to win the heart of his substitute chemistry teacher by graduating high school in just three weeks. The two students team up to help one another achieve what he needs.
The soundtrack for the movie will be released Dec. 13 and the first single, titled "Young, Wild & Free," features Bruno Mars and was produced by The Smeezingtons.
After starting off the tour in New York, the pair will head to Philadelphia's Electric Factory on Dec. 6, the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 7, Atlanta's Tabernacle on Dec. 10, The Warfield Theater in San Francisco on Dec 12, and The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Dec. 13.
