Sherri Shepherd will stop at nothing to wash her hands of the baby boy her ex-husband Lamar Sally claims is their son. The talk show host, who has lost several bids to avoid paying $4600 a month in child support, wants to take her case all the way to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
According to Shepherd, the baby boy (born via surrogate) shares none of her DNA and it was her ex's decision to bring him into the world in a bid to put her on the hook financially for the next 18 years. Sally, for his part, tells TMZ it's ridiculous the former View host would spend $100,000 to help bring the baby into the world and then insist she's not his mother.
Shepherd will argue that previous judges, who ruled against her in the child support battle, were wrong to use the surrogacy agreement as an admission of parental responsibility.
Sadly, this little boy will one day be able to read all about this on the Internet. Hopefully Shepherd and Sally sort this out before long.
