Gunna’s ‘Fukumean’ Earns Him His First No. 1 Song On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart
Gunna’s notched a career milestone over the past week with his single “Fukumean.”
The track has earned him his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
According to the music outlet, the “A Gift & a Curse” hit advanced from the runner-up spot on the list dated July 22. It’s also improving by the day in all three metrics that inform the chart – streaming, radio airplay, and sales.
Previously, Gunna’s highest charting song was the Future and Young Thug collaborative “Pushin P” from January 2022.
“Fukumean” also topped the Hot Rap Songs chart, which is another first for the Atlanta rapper.

In the week ending July 13, “Fukumean” totalled a 23.7 million official U.S. stream haul. The song began with 15.2 million in its debut frame. It then rose to 18 million, 20.2 million and now 23.7 million in back-to-back-to-back weeks, according to Luminate, Billboard reports.
Gunna released his latest studio album “A Gift & a Curse” on June 16.
The project debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
