Diddy Hit With $996,000 Lawsuit From NYC
The city of New York isn't too happy with Diddy right now.
The Bad Boy mogul's flagship establishment, Bad Boy Entertainment, is being hit with a lawsuit for illegally pinning up promo posters throughout the city, which has resulted in a $996,000 bill that has yet to be paid.
The City's Financial Commissioner, David Frankel, is after Diddy and other NYC residents for a debt totaling $1.9 billion. Remy Ma and Doug E. Fresh are also being investigated.
We are going to find these people," Frankel told the New York Daily News. "We're going to turn them upside down by their ankles and we're going to shake them until the money comes out of their pockets.
However, a rep from Bad Boy Entertainment has detailed the outstanding bill as a "bureaucratic error" and tells the Daily News that the debt was "paid by a partner company three years ago but the city has failed to update the record.
Legal reps for the city are currently reviewing the issue.
