Oprah Reveals Her Biggest Regret
To housewives across the country, Oprah Winfrey can do no wrong, but the talk show icon admits to at least one major regret.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the retired queen of daytime shares what she feels is her biggest misstep in her 25-year run on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Remember the infamous "wagon of fat," which Oprah wheeled out on stage in 1988 to demonstrate her 67 lb. weight loss? Oprah does, and it makes her cringe. "When I look at that show, I think it was one of the biggest ego trips of my life," Oprah explains. "When I look back at that, I think 'mistake' in many ways."
Reflecting on what she could have done differently, Oprah says she would've told herself "'Don't do it!' It's a great TV moment, but don't do it."
If that’s her biggest faux pas in 25 years on the air, that’s a pretty good track record. But we still want an explanation for Dr. Phil.
