Floyd Mayweather Believes We Wouldn't Be Talking About Bill Cosby If He Were White
Bill Cosby may want to send a thank you tweet to Floyd Mayweather Jr. The boxer is encouraging all his fans to get over the Cosby scandal and focus on more important things, like police brutality.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Money didn't exactly say the media is racist for their takedown of the TV icon — he does say if the allegations against Cosby are true, then what he did was "not right" — but he doesn't understand why he's a target and not famous white sex offenders.
Plenty of people agree with Floyd, of course, but his comments seem to ignore the fundamental difference between Cosby and others who committed similar crimes: we didn't invite those other guys into our living rooms night after night to give us a moral compass.
