When cheating rumors emerged in March between hip-hop and R&B love birds Big Sean and Jhene Aiko, holding that the former had stepped out on his relationship with singer Nicole Scherzinger, the pair shut the breakup buzz down with the quickness.

Nearly two months later, and more suspicion has raised of a possible split between the two, but this time, it’s coming directly from the source.

The Trip songstress took to social media on Thursday (May 3) with some mysterious posts hinting at a breakup with the Detroit rapper via her Instagram story. Jhene posted a photo of herself laid out topless as a tattoo artist meticulously focused on the floral side piece inked on the right side of her torso.

“Realizing ALL things are temporary, I rejoice in this moment,” she wrote on the picture.

At first, the picture seems a bit subliminal, but innocent enough. That is, until you continue tapping through the other posts of her Instagram story.

“Cheers to old beginnings and new endings,” she wrote on the next post. “It’s never ever too late to edit [wink-face emoji].”

As speculated by fans, Penny could be hinting at a cover-up or “edit” of the intricately detailed tattoo of her (possibly former) rap beau inked on the back of her upper arm. Not to mention, The Shade Room pointed out the two are also no longer following each other on the ‘Gram.

Still, there’s no concrete confirmation of a breakup from either of the two just yet.
