Game Weighs in on Chris Brown vs. Drake
As a participant in one of the most notorious rap feuds of the past decade, Game knows a little something about beef. In a surprise phone call to DJ Whoo Kid's Shade 45 radio show over the weekend, the West Coast titan weighed in on the recent spat between Drake and Chris Brown and why he thinks they should work out their differences.
"Them two cool cats," Game said of Brown and Drake, both of whom he collaborated with on 2011's The Red Album. "Chris is doin' his thing, man, and Drake is for the ladies. N----s need to chill out and make they music."
According to Game, it's never a good look when R&B-inclined artists get involved with beef.
"That's not a cool beef. They both can stop it now and go about they way, go they separate ways and get they money," he said, adding "If them n----s is rappers, I'm encouraging that s--t. But if one of those n----s is an R&B n---a, then y'all need to cut that out. We need some songs to f--k to."
The "One Blood" rapper also talked about the status of his relationship with former foe 50 Cent, saying he had reached out to him multiple times and gotten no response.
"You know what I do, man. After a while, it's been so long, I don't care about that s--t, man," he said. "If it's an opportunity to make some money, it's all good. If not, and Fif let his ego control him, that's good, too. But Game is good, I'm all good. I ain't trippin' off nobody, until somebody's trippin.' Then I'ma turn it all the way up."
Game joins Young Buck as another former G-Unit member who's looking to smooth things over with 50. As previously reported Buck admitted that he would love to participate in a reunion of the once formidable rap crew.
