Cory Hardrict has been cast as a supporting lead in Clint Eastwood's upcoming film American Sniper. The actor, husband of actress Tia Mowry, will star opposite Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller. Eastwood hand selected Cory for the role, it will be Cory’s second film with the Oscar-winning director. The pair previously worked together in Gran Torino.

Hardrict, a veteran actor who has appeared in dozens of films and television shows since making his acting debut in 1998, is poised to have a breakthrough year. He stars in three upcoming films, including the sci-fi drama Transcendence with an all-star cast, including Johnny Depp, Kate Mara and Morgan Freeman. He is the male lead of the Queen Latifah-produced Brotherly Love opposite Keke Palmer and will also be seen in the drama Car Dogs with Octavia Spencer and George Lopez.

American Sniper tells the story of Craig Kyle, a Navy SEAL sniper with the most confirmed kills in U.S. military history. Cooper will play the lead role, with Miller as his stay-at-home wife. It's not clear what Hardrict's role will be in the film.
