Kendrick Lamar's New Album Is Past Rumored Deadline and Fans Want Answers
When Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Part 4” dropped two weeks ago, the track’s foreboding lyrics sent warning shots for, presumably, a new album from the Compton rap prodigy dropping this Friday (April 7).
But now that the morning of the long-awaited rumored release date has come and gone with nothing more than a pre-order and tracklist for the project, TDE fans have officially flown off the deep end.
Captured from iTunes, the only song available is the already-released “HUMBLE.” that took hip-hop by lyrical and visual storm just a week prior (March 31). There’s also 14 tracks, including “HUMBLE.,” without titles or features as well. What fans can confirm, however, is a scheduled April 14 release date.
At least half of the anticipation is due to K-Dot's alleged shots at several rap rivals such as Big Sean and Drake in his first two singles of 2017. While it was undeniably clear that he was lyrically cautioning unnamed individuals to stay in their place, it was even more apparent that the upcoming album is loading up relentless headshots at his adversaries, and we've been warned.
