DJ Khaled Wants the World to Watch the Birth of His Son
Every DJ Khaled interview is a gift. Every word he says is positive, especially since he has a lot going on in his life right now.
One of the exciting events coming up for him is the birth of his son, and appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (June 23), the Miami superproducer revealed that he wants everyone to see the birth live over Snapchat. WHAT?
“Actually I want to Snapchat the whole birth,” he explained. “The key is that I’m the king and every queen should support the king. I’m going to talk to the doctor and if the doctor says everything is running smoothly. We wanna make sure that the queen is right, my son is right. If it’s running smooth to where I can do my thing, I’m gonna Snapchat the whole thing.”
Makes sense though if you think about it. Khaled’s Snapchatted everything from being amongst thousands of adoring fans to getting lost on a jet ski. He also revealed the cover art for his forthcoming ninth solo studio album, Major Key, which has him on a throne (of course) amongst a garden of flowers and a lion.
"The album cover is 100 percent authentic," Khaled told Kimmel. "What I represent from my spiritual vibes to my beliefs and not just that, but a certain energy that I keep around me. Positivity but, at the same time, as a king. A positive king."
Finally, DJ Khaled talked about his most recent meeting with President Obama and says their discussion was the “realest talk ever.”
"We had cloth talk," Khaled said of his recent meeting with the president, which had Kimmel ask what cloth talk is, which Khaled responded, "[It's] the realest talk ever. The holy grail. Not everybody can talk cloth."
