Chance The Rapper Is Not Done Taking Shots At Joe Budden Just Yet...
It’s not every day that someone lands on Chicago BlackBoyJoy marvel Chance The Rapper’s bad side, but Everyday Struggle host and New Jersey emcee Joe Budden still made it happen anyway.
Now that the two have sent shots back and forth, with Joe threatening a bold declaration on Chance’s rap career, the “No Problem” artist is taking his turn at another jab for Joey.
At his live Lost Lake Festival performance in Phoenix, Chano spit a freestyle for fans during his set with direct bars aimed at Uncle Joe: “I might fire Joe Budden.”
The shot is in direct reference to his “9 to 5” quip for the Slaughterhouse emcee-turned Complex host, which he suggested as Joey’s new way of living compared to his former career as an actual hip-hop artist. Despite Joey igniting the grudge with commentary on Chance’s musical taste, which he deemed “too positive,” he sent a harrowing warning in response.
“You’re going to force me to take the mask off of you,” Joey rebutted from his Everyday Struggle co-host seat. “You are not independent. Stop saying it, and stop responding to me every time I say it because I’m willing to prove my point.”
Well, Uncle Joe, it looks like Lil Chano From 79th took that advice with a grain of salt.
