Jackie Christie and her daughter, Ta'Kari, have been going back and forth with each other on social media for over a week now after news broke that Ta'Kari's relationship with the Basketball Wives star was so bad that she had to resort to crowdfunding to cover critical medical costs for her infant son. Ironically, their social media spat seemed to be the most communication they'd had in years.
Well, Ta'Kari is taking advantage of the spotlight to get a few things off of her chest, and penned an emotional open letter to her mother explaining the pain she's experienced over the years thanks to their fractured-at-best relationship.

"When my son got hurt, I called who I thought it would matter to," Ta'Kari writes. "You have never met my son and haven't seen the others in many years. What is a shock to others is just normal life to us. I'm sorry for the embarrassment my son's life has brought to you, and hope you can forgive me as I've forgiven you."
