Report: Two People Shot at Rich Homie Quan Show
Shots were fired at a Rich Homie Quan concert for the second time in about 30 days, reports AllHipHop.com. Two people were hit. The injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.
The shooting occurred inside the Arena Building in Cape Girardeau, Mo., at around 10:20 p.m. Satuday (Jan. 25). A security guard told the Southeast Missourian that an as yet unidentified attendee was upset when he got kicked out of the venue for getting "physical with security." "[He] did not like it one bit, but he had numerous chances," the guard said. "He had to go."
When he returned, he had a weapon and let off one shot before the audience started pouring out of the arena. Multiple shots were fired outside. Police report finding one victim at the scene, suffering from a gunshot wound in the chest.
Another later arrived at a nearby hospital with a bullet wound in the leg; he said he was at the show. One woman also reported that her vehicle was shot up; she suffered no injuries.
Last month, a shooting at a Quan concert in Columbus, Ohi,o resulted in a fatally. "It's sad to hear that someone died," Quan said afterwards. "I just want everybody to know, me nor anybody in my crew or affiliation had anything to do with the shooting in Ohio."
The "Type of Way" rapper has yet to respond publicly to the incident this weekend.
