Prince didn't create a will before his untimely death a couple of weeks ago, and while courts try to determine who will inherit his estate, worth several hundred million dollars, the family members who depended on him financially have been cut off. But a close friend of the Purple One has stepped in to lend a hand financially.
According to TMZ, George Lopez is taking care of the family, sending at least $20,000 to the rock icon's siblings and other dependents to get them through the probate process. Sources say he's prepared to send even more money if needed.

Prince was reportedly very generous with his family, and it's great to see that his inner circle is willing to pick up the slack during this difficult time. As for the artist's estate, since he had no direct beneficiaries (his parents are dead and he had no wife or children at the time of this death), his estate will likely be divided in some way among his siblings.
