Jamaican-born fashion designer Rachel Scott continues to make waves in the fashion world after recently being awarded the prestigious American Womenswear Designer of the Year at the 2024 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards.
The star-studded evening, hosted by Academy Award-nominated actress and songwriter Cynthia Erivo, was held at the iconic American Museum of Natural History.
The fashion designer who leads the New York-based label Diotima rose to fame, captivating audiences with her authentic and inclusive approach to Caribbean-inspired fashion, worn by many including celebrities Angel Reese and Ayesha Curry.
