Yikes: Here's Why Birdman Lost Another Whopping $100K
Birdman just can’t win. The music mogul recently revealed that he lost $100,000 — and you won’t believe where it all went.
The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots 41-33 at Super Bowl LII on Sunday (Feb. 4). A lot of sports fans probably lost some money in their bets on which team would take home the trophy, but not as much as Birdman lost.
Prior to the game, Birdman announced on Instagram that he made a $100k bet on the Patriots with Philly rapper AR-Ab. As the clock wound down to game time, the amount seemed to increase to $150,000 and then again to $200,000, although posts were quickly removed.
This isn’t the first time Birdman has ever lost big money betting on the Super Bowl. In 2012, Baby reportedly put $5 million on the Patriots crushing the Giants at the championship game. But unfortunately for him, the Patriots ended up losing that game as well.
After the Eagles blew the Patriots out of the water, AR-Ab jumped on Instagram to celebrate the victory and collect his earnings from Birdman. Birdman has not acknowledged the loss on social media just yet, but let’s hope the rapper finally pays someone the money he owes them.
