Kid Ink: I Want Chris Brown in the 'Main Chick' Video

Rapper discusses his plan to incorporate Breezy into the visuals for his new single.

Kid Ink is ready to make adjustments to his "Main Chick" music video in order to accommodate Chris Brown's guest spot, the rapper told MTV News. Breezy has been locked up since mid-March and was therefore unable to shoot the video with Ink and Tyga.

That doesn't mean he won't make the final cut, though. "Right now, it's looking like we got a nice video with me and Tyga, but we still gonna have some open room to situate with Chris and I have some ideas if [it] comes to that," Ink revealed, sort of.

The two were in contact "right before" the video shoot started, he said. "His team has been incorporated with my team and reaching out, and keeping me in tune with what's going on," continued the West Coaster. "We were waiting for him for the video. Hopefully we can finalize it pretty soon and have it out. We don't wanna waste too much time."

The 28-year-old is prepared to go forward without Brown — if it comes to that. Last week, a judge sentenced Brown to an extra 131 days behind bars, although he is expected to be released sometime this week.

With or without his crooning collaborator, Ink said he's satisfied with the project as is. The storyline takes place on a private plane and includes "some fan groupies" who "sneak" onto the aircraft. "We're in the air, so after that, it's like, nowhere to go," he explained of the premise.

Brown has linked with the Los Angeles-born rhymer before. Aside from "Main Chick," the Grammy winner is featured on "Show Me," the first single off Ink's My Own Lane release. He also directed the music video.
