Cultural appropriation of Black hair is an issue that can — and has been — explored in many ways, but the folks at All Def Digital decided to address it as pure comedy.
The company created a video featuring white female comediennes getting weaves for the first time, and the results will have you both ROTFL and giving the whole thing the side-eye.
Deandra Giselle, a "weaveologist" from Reseda, California, did the honors, explaining the process to the girls while she sews in their weaves. She also talks about some common problems her customers face, like what happens to your weave when you get into a fight:

For the most part, the girls seem pretty game to try the procedure and genuinely thrilled with the results. They also quickly learn that rocking a weave doesn't make you Black. "If my ass could get fatter because of the weave, that would be great, but I know that's not happening," said one.
Interestingly, a lot of celebrities didn't quite get that message.
