Could a Drake/Craig David Mixtape Actually Happen?
Drake hit a stride with Future that he might be ready to try out on another joint mixtape, this time with British singer Craig David.
During an interview with the BBC’s 1Xtra Breakfast, David recalled a mutual fan boy meeting with Drake, and the possibility of a mixtape “when the time is right.”
Nothing’s in the works yet, but David’s sure Drake will be down. “I promise you,” he said. “Not on a gas, kind of to beg a man to be on his record because he’s the hottest thing right now. He would easily be like, ‘Yeah I would do that.’”
David shot to fame with his debut single, “Fill Me In," released in 2000. After selling 30 million records, David told the 1Xtra hosts that he still feels like a new artist.
