Omarion's Latest Comments On 'You Got Served' Will Have B2K Fans Fainting

Say it is so!

B2K fans are counting down the days until their dangerously anticipated reunion otherwise known as The Millennium Tour, coming to a stage near you this spring.

The former R&B/hip-hop boy group will run back their best hits, looks and moves for the tour that will bring early ‘00s nostalgia out to play for 2019, as announced by the group’s lead singer himself, Omarion. According to a recent interview with ET Live, however, there’s a chance (keyword: chance, ladies) that another relic from the treasure chest of the early ‘00s could reemerge as well: the Chris Stokes-written, B2K-starring You Got Served film.

  • When asked about a possible reboot for the 2004 blockbuster, O kept it 100

“I think it would be really dope to do a ‘You Got Served’ continuum,” he said. “I wouldn’t be opposed to it!” He went on to champion the movie’s impact, and considering how influential it was during its time, he doesn’t see why “we couldn’t get everybody back together.” You Got Served opened at the No. 1 spot and grossed nearly $50,000,000 worldwide. As for that impact O spoke to, the film was also parodied in pop culture classics like South Park and Robot Chicken. The “you got served” phrase itself also marked a moment in history, making it to the digi-verse of the online gaming world in Guild Wars Nightfall too.

  • O also dropped gems on some of his favorite memories from starring in the film, which he noted as working with the variety of diverse dancers and performers. “That experience was so indelible to me as a creative artist because I got to really meet people that dance for life,” he said. “Everyone has different backgrounds, and that was the first time that I was able to just really be a sponge as a performer.”

Welp! We've got our fingers crossed. Hear more about The Millennium Tour and the idea of a possible You Got Served reboot from Omarion below.
