Kim Kardashian Sends Love Note To Pete Davidson On His ‘SNL’ Farewell
Kim Kardashian was in Italy for her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding but took the time to send a sweet animated video Saturday (May 21) to congratulate her boyfriend Pete Davidson on his final episode of Saturday Night Live as a cast member.
"Hiii. In case you haven't heard this lately, I love you. I love you so [expletive] much, and I'm so proud of you — of the big things and the little things and everything in between the big things and the little things. Consider me your personal, little life cheerleader because you deserve to have one. Woo!" text on the screen reads, as an animated ghost narrates, PEOPLE reports.
Kardashian later uploaded a collage of Davidson’s pictures on the show taken over the years.
Appearing on the “Weekend Update” segment, Davidson joked with co-anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che about his departure.
"Hello, Colin and Che and millions of people only watching to see if I bring up Kanye [West]," Davidson started his remarks, referencing his public feud with Kardashian’s ex.
Jost replied, "Yeah, you had a weird year."
"Yeah. I just -- I never imagined this would be my life," Davidson said. "Look at me when I started here. Back then I was just like a skinny kid and no one knew what race I was. Like now, everyone knows I'm white because I became hugely successful while barely showing up to work."
Rumors of a romance between Kardashian and Davidson emerged after she hosted the late-night sketch comedy show in October. Fans got the first confirmation about the relationship in February when Davidson publicly called Kardashian his girlfriend for the first time. The comedian also shared a shirtless selfie in March on Instagram in which fans noticed Kim's name tattooed on the left side of his chest.
More recently, the couple has been spotted together at the Met Gala and the 2022 White House Correspondents' Dinner.
