Steph Curry Ripped a Fan's Pair of LeBrons Off and Replaced Them With His Sneakers and Got Roasted

"That's like taking someone's Lambo and giving them a Honda Civic."

The rivalry between Steph Curry and LeBron James runs deep ... even during the offseason.

A month after Curry's Golden State Warriors defeated James's Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Finals, Steph made it a point Thursday to rip a fan's Nike LeBron sneakers right off his feet and replace them with his own Under Armour Curry kicks.

While the savage moment was received well in Seoul, South Korea, which is one of the stops on Curry's Asian tour this summer, it completely backfired on the two-time NBA champ on Twitter, where people let it be known that the LeBrons are far more superior sneakers than the Currys.

Check out how people roasted Curry for his zero-chill move.

  • Here's Steph snatching the LeBrons right off this fan's feet and replacing them with his own Curry kicks

But that savage move would have him getting roasted anyway.

  • People immediately took issue with Steph replacing the LeBrons with the Currys, saying the fan got the raw deal

"Ugly old-man shoes." Damn, Twitter can be cruel.

  • And those jokes turned into anger, as fans continued to rep for the LeBrons

    Sheesh!

  • Then came this internet gold of an analogy

    Good grief!

  • And fans further tried to put the comparison between the sneakers into perspective

The King has to be laughing about this now.

  • There were some people who credited Steph for being savage of the summer thus far

That last tweet is true, though.

  • But they were drowned out by more people slamming the Currys

In other words, they're saying that fan should have snatched his LeBrons back. Let's not front, though ... the LeBrons > the Currys. Not even close.
