Yikes: Here's Why An Angry Mob Attacked Jim Jones Outside Of A Nightclub
Dipset emcee Jim Jones’s night in Massachusetts after a club hosting gig turned very ugly very quickly after a group of men violently attacked him and his security team.
And according to TMZ, as well as a video of the incident, the brawl came about from selfie photos with the Harlem-native.
As the footage begins, Jimmy is seen arguing with supposed fans from outside of a black SUV. He appears to mention something about photos as he stops momentarily to pose for a woman who’s standing in front of him and holding her phone up for a selfie shot with him. He’s visibly agitated at this point—not by her, but by the men who can be heard becoming more and more verbally aggressive.
Before you know it, that aggression turns into an altercation when the camera shows men throwing punches reportedly at Jim’s security team. Everything happens so fast that you can’t see him step down from the truck, but TMZ reports that a source shared he wasn’t directly involved in the throwdown, though someone was holding him back. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, including the “We Fly High” artist, and the crowd had dispersed before police arrived.
That was a close one, Jimmy.
Watch the shenanigans ensue in the video of the incident below.
