The First Family Dines at a Nature Reserve

The first family is having a private dinner at the Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana.

First Lady Michelle Obama and her family ended their first day in Botswana Friday evening at the Mokolodi Nature Reserve. A small bird with a turquoise-colored head loudly cheep-cheep-cheeped and performed acrobatics in the air as a blazing sun began winding down for the night.

Dinner was served at a round, thatched-roof restaurant called Mokolodi, whose terrace big-game animals like to stop by to people-watch by the terrace. The Obamas and their aides dined privately, but perhaps a zebra or giraffee saw what they were eating.
