Here's The Real Reason Why Nicki Minaj And Cardi B's Feud Began
At this point, the ongoing strife between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B can go down in hip-hop history. Even though Cardi never initially wanted problems with Head Barb, the divided fan bases kept the two at each other's necks. From sketchy behind-the-scenes mistreatment to succumbing to literal blows with no clear intention on ending their harsh battle anytime soon.
However, it seems that Jason Lee of scandalous gossip blog Hollywood Unlocked has allegedly pinpointed the reason behind these two rapstresses' feud.
On his radio show, Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored, Lee dug up some receipts his co-hosts and fans might be interested in about "Drip," Cardi's single off her debut album that features Migos.
Unbeknownst though, Lee pointed out that Atlanta-trap icon Future was the original costar on "Drip," but Nicki Minaj supposedly wouldn't let that rock because of NICKIHNDRXX, their co-headling tour.
Lee also mentioned that he has the reference track and even quoted Cardi saying that, "[Nicki is] hating behind the scenes."
He ended his sentiment by mentioning that Migos "had to jump on because Future had to jump off."
One fan found the reference track, while another claimed that "Drip" was originally a Future song entitled "Upscale." To make matters more questionable, Migos dropped a "Drip" remix featuring Future.

Either way, this information has to be taken with a grain of salt, but this could be the foundation of the most notable female emcee disputes of 2018.
