Look: Facts? Usain Bolt Says Womanizing Is Part of Jamaican 'Culture'
This gives a whole new meaning to the being the "Fastest Man in the World."
In an attempt to explain allegations that he cheated on his girlfriend, Kasi Bennett (pictured), before, during and after the Rio Olympics, Usain Bolt told GQ magazine that womanizing is embedded in Jamaican "culture" ... and so, you shouldn't come down too hard on him.
“You can’t judge a different culture by your own culture," Bolt told GQ, who named the nine-time Olympic gold-medal-winning sprinter as one of its Men of the Year. "In England when you get famous the first thing you do is get married and have kids. In Jamaica it’s different — like my parents had me and they got married 11 years later."
He added: “In Jamaica, we wine on each other. It’s our culture. People see it the first time, they’re like, 'What is going on? It’s like they’re having sex in the club!' No, that’s just the culture. It’s how we are."
Really, bruh? Facts, though?
Although Bolt doesn't come out and admit that he cheated on Bennett, his reasoning about the country's "culture" is a head-scratcher to say the least.
Needless to say, women aren't here for that excuse at all.
Before Bolt even made the comments to GQ, women weren't having it when the sprinter tried to use Jamaican culture as an excuse to justify his flirting, which was captured through the summer via photos and even video footage.
Still, Bolt is one of the publication's Men of the Year, joining the likes of Ryan Reynolds and Warren Beatty.
