It’s well known that 50 Cent doesn’t have a good relationship with his oldest son Marquise. That’s why it’s strange that he took to Instagram today (April 13) to let everyone know that he treats both of his kids the same.

“Same treatment, complete different relationships. #FRIGO,” he captioned in a post which showed a split picture of him holding both children shortly after they were born.

Back in December, Fif had some really unpleasant things to say about Marquise’s mother, Shaniqua Tompkins. In the now-deleted post, 50 said that his 19-year-old son would one day despise his mom. “This kid is gonna hate his mother when he realizes what she did to him,” he captioned in the post. “He has to make his own like I did. SMH GOOD LUCK !!!”

Afterward, Tompkins laid down a bit of an ether, accusing 50 Cent of creating unnecessary public drama and even disputing the fact that he was actually shot nine times as he claims he was in numerous lyrics early on in his career.

Neither Marquise nor his mother have responded publicly to anything since. Check out 50 Cent’s Instagram posting below.
