Lil Wayne's Free Weezy Album Is Releasing on Independence Day
Although we still don’t know when Tha Carter V is coming out, Lil Wayne is moving on with his other project, Free Weezy Album.
After sharing “Glory” on Tidal, Weezy revealed the release date of FWA, which will be out on Independence Day. “I got a new album coming out. It’s called FWA and it’ll be out Fourth of July,” he told an audience at the Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, Calif.
This latest bit of information comes just days after he announced a new partnership with Jay Z. While many assumed it was Weezy signing to Roc Nation, Cortez Bryant confirmed it was his deal with Tidal. As of now, we don’t know if FWA will be released on Tidal, but it is a strong possibly.
