Chris Brown Faces $50 Million Lawsuit Following Alleged Brutal Attack on Four Men
After getting stuck in the air during his "11:11 Tour" stop at the Prudential Center, it seems Chris Brown is now grounded with a different kind of turbulence — he's been hit with a $50 million lawsuit.
According to FOX 4, Brown is being accused of allegedly brutally attacking four men after wrapping up a tour stop at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth. The four men filed a lawsuit, claiming the 35-year-old and his crew threw chairs at them and physically attacked them after surrounding them on July 20.
After sharing that they were invited to Brown’s VIP area backstage, one of the plaintiffs, Charles Bush, shared that he shook the singer’s hand and praised him for a good show. Things took a turn when someone from Brown’s crew told the actor he had a previous issue with Bush.
According to the plaintiffs, Brown allegedly said he “doesn’t forget s***” and proceeded to tell members of his party to attack Bush.
The suit claims one of the men was hospitalized following the attack, while three required medical attention.
The lawsuit states that Brown's involvement in and orchestration of the “brutal, violent assault” caused severe injuries to all plaintiffs.
A few months back, Brown faced another lawsuit in October for allegedly beating up a man at a London nightclub in February 2023.
The plaintiff, Abe Diaw, accused Brown of hitting him in the face with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila at TAPE in the British city.
The suit claimed the “This Christmas” star beat Diaw until he was unconscious and “continued to ruthlessly stomp” on him for “30 seconds.” This resulted in Diaw having “lacerations on his head and torn ligaments in his leg,” leaving him "permanent" damage and "severe emotional distress."
