Things aren't always as cut and dry as they seem. This past Tuesday night, Young Money rapper Tyga and his crew were shot at while leaving a Careless World tour stop in Omaha, Nebraska. 

The report, coupled with a YouTube video filmed earlier in the evening of an irate Tyga calling out audience members for throwing trash on stage and disrupting his show, caused many to speculate that it was the Compton rapper himself who initiated the altercation and later, gunfire. However, the YMCMB star gave an interview to Los Angeles Power 106 radio station that turned the tables and revealed that the shooting was likely just another act of retaliation in a battle that had been going on all day.

"It actually was some people that was supposed to perform like some local opening acts and I told them that they couldn't perform," Tyga revealed to Power 106's Yesi Ortiz. "I didn't want no opening acts performing and that's what happened, that's what ya'll seen on YouTube and stuff. Stuff was going on all day. I could've left Omaha and been like 'I don't care about ya'll, I'ma leave and I ain't gonna do the show.' I could've bounced but I ain't gone do that to my fans because my fans come to see me perform and like I said those wasn't fans. Stuff happens though."

As previously reported, Honey Cocaine, a female rapper and affiliate of Tyga's crew, was struck by a bullet but has since been admitted and released from the hospital. The "Rack City" rapper says that the tour will continue on and assures that he's not worried about further incident.

"I'm not paranoid," he shared. "You don't understand, this doesn't happen. These aren't fans. This situation escalated because I wanted to do the show. I was dealing with the same people from the beginning of the day before the show even started."

The Careless World tour continues tonight in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
