Judge Recalls Lil Flip Arrest Warrant
Lil Flip just caught a lucky break in his pending gun case, and is no longer wanted by authorities. Flip's lawyer got his arrest warrant recalled after the Houston native skipped out on a court date last month, due to scheduling conflicts.
The attorney submitted documents to the court proving that Flip's absence was all a big mistake, because he was not aware of the hearing. The judge bought the excuse, rescheduling the date for this summer.
Flip, born name Wesley Eric Weston Jr., was arrested for speeding in Louisiana last Christmas. Authorities found him in possession of an AR-15 assault rifle and weed, charges of which he pleaded not guilty to. The 32-year-old denied ownership of the marijuana, claiming that it was actually tobacco, and produced a Texas license for the weapon.
He is due back in court in July.
