Young Buck Turns Himself in to Authorities After Being Served an Arrest Warrant

He's halting the promotion of his new music.

Young Buck has turned himself in to authorities after being issued an arrest warrant.

According to his publicist, the Nashville, Tennessee, rapper surrendered to the Davidson County Sheriff's Department in response to a warrant issued for charges stemming from a 2016 alleged verbal altercation. He was subsequently released on a $10,000 bond.

While Buck will have to see a judge again, his legal team is claiming that the charges the warrant was issued over have already been dismissed.

“These charges were previously dismissed by General Sessions Court of Davidson County,” Attorney Joe Morrissey said in a statement. “And, Mr. Brown categorically denies any wrongdoing and looks forward to being exonerated.”

This is just the latest in a string of legal issues Young Buck has battled over recent years. Last summer, the G-Unit emcee violated the conditions of his supervised release and probation from the same 2016 verbal assault case involving his then girlfriend and current fiancé.

In 2012, Buck was sentenced to 18 months in prison on weapons charges. He served his time in a low security federal prison for the offense.
