Another Woman Claims Herschel Walker Pressured Her To Have An Abortion
Another woman has come forward and accused Herschel Walker, the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Georgia, of urging her to get an abortion.
According to CNN, the unidentified woman said in 1993 Walker pressured her to terminate her pregnancy in Dallas, Texas. The woman is represented by Gloria Allred and virtually attended an Oct. 26 press conference. Without showing her face, she claimed they began a romantic relationship in 1987 while Walker was married. In 1993, Walker was married to Cindy DeAngelis Grossman.
Allred exhibited multiple personal cards the woman claimed Walker sent her. The cards were signed with the letter “H,” which contradicts statements that he did not sign cards that way. Last month, another woman claimed Walker paid for an abortion and provided a card signed with the letter “H.”
The unidentified woman said about Walker: “He has publicly taken the position that he is about life and against abortion under any circumstance when in fact he pressured me to have an abortion and personally ensured that it occurred by driving me to the clinic and paying for it.”
She also said, “Herschel Walker is a hypocrite, and he is not fit to be a US Senator. We don’t need people in the US senate who profess one thing and do another. Herschel Walker says he is against women having abortions, but he pressured me to have one.”
The woman added, “After discussing the pregnancy with Herschel several times, he encouraged me to have an abortion and gave me the money to do so. I went to a clinic in Dallas but simply couldn’t go through with it, I left the clinic in tears.”
However, she claims he “drove me to the clinic the following day and waited for hours in the parking lot until I came out. I was devastated because I felt like I was pressured into having the abortion.” The woman said after the abortion she left Dallas, Texas for 15 years.
The woman said she is a registered Independent, voted for former President Donald Trump and coming forward was not political. “I do not believe that Herschel is morally fit to be a US senator and that is the reason why I am speaking up and providing proof,” she explained.
At a Georgia press conference today, Walker denied the latest accusations, according to The New York Times.
On Oct. 4, The Daily Beast reported that Walker allegedly paid for an abortion in 2009. The unidentified woman later claimed that she is the mother of one of his children. Additionally, Walker's 23-year-old son Christian Walker blasted him on social media, accusing him of violence and being a liar.
